Your dog needs to be brushed often as this would make the dog feel loved and cared for. If you follow the grooming techniques, it will be a very healthy exercise for the dog. Also frequent brushing keeps the fur clean and removes hair that otherwise fall and spread on the floor of the house.

Time spent fostering your dog ensures that you and your pet will have a strong friendship. This is complimented by the fact that he will be content and fit for most of his lifetime.

Brushing your dog’s fur on a routine interval promotes a healthy appearance. Their fur takes on a shiny look after trimming their hair and brushing their fur. In every sense, your puppy’s fur will have a lusty gleam.

If you pay more attention to the dog, it will make him more self-confident and he will love the feeling of being loved. Dogs also love to be clean and well groomed. They become very attached to the masters and they respond very positively.

Frequent brushing also helps in improved blood circulation. This is very helpful in avoiding several diseases. Older dogs which cannot get up and walk, need to be paid more attention and if frequently brushed, they feel revitalized and healthier.

Dogs have to be brushed in the right way according to grooming instructions. Also dogs with lot of hair need to be clipped periodically to avoid matting of hair. Matting of hair will give a very unkempt appearance and also be very painful for the dog.

Whenever your dog’s fur is matted, you can untangle it two different ways. First, you can comb or brush it. Secondly, however, you might have to cut or shave off the matted areas if a comb or brush proves unable to pass through them.

Don’t wait until your dog’s hair is matted or dirty to start grooming. The best way to handle grooming is to make it more of an exercise in fun or play rather than tedium. This is the key, for you don’t want to have your puppy associating grooming with unpleasantness. Instead, it should be made as fun as possible and should be another form of affection that will strengthen the bond between owner and dog.
