Is chaos good for the soul? Can it be beneficial? Can it make you a better person?

Most people consider chaos to be an evil thing. It messes things up, makes things complicated, and is generally annoying. It destroys that perfect picture of a situation, that storybook scene that we all walk around with in our heads, of what the world is supposed to be. Chaos hates that story, and it does everything it can to destroy it.

Chaos has a pretty bad rap. But what most people don’t understand is the place of chaos in the world. The average person can’t see the beauty of chaos, the power, the sheer necessity of it.

Without chaos the world would be exceedingly dull. Things would be predictable. Nothing would ever change.

Without chaos you wouldn’t have art, you can’t have music or poetry, or even passion, because there is no reason to get passionate. Everything is fine; everything is the same, no chaos, only order.
